The July 3rd date is when 52.9.0esr is being Released and the August 28 date is because Firefox 60.2.0 ESR will be the only current ESR then. ![]() I am very well aware of the dates as you should notice by my giving you the note that 52.8.0esr was originally going to be the last and they extended it to 52.9.0esr Release. Just to let you know, in case you missed it in my OP, Firefox ESR 52.9.0 support will end on 28 August 2018. ESR or Extended Support Release is basically versions supported for an extended time with security and allowed stability fixes as it is not a separate branch of development or such. ![]() The 52.9.0 version is dated 2 while the 52.9.1 version is dated 0. After some detective work, Ive located Firefox 52.9.1 ESR buried on Mozillas servers and confirmed it works on Windows XP. Not sure if this legacy url will still be in use when the old legacy 52 ESR is made EOL on Sept 5 with no more updates. Although this could go in the 'browsers' thread, I didnt want this to get buried in the many pages of that thread. ![]() Originally Firefox 52.8.0 ESR was going to be the last but because the next major version ESR was going to be based on was moved from 59.0 to 60.0 they are going to have 52.9.0esr. On you find the 52.9.0esr folder then pick the win32 folder (32-bit Windows) then the language (say en-US or en-GB for example) then download the setup.
